Dentist
After a spell in the Royal Army Dental Corps Stephen
settled in North Yorkshire and has been in Bedale since
1995. He is involved in all aspects of general dental
practice but has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. |

HELEN
COATES
BDS (University College London, Dental School) 1990
After graduating Helen practiced in Buckinghamshire
and London for seven years before moving to North Yorkshire
in 1997. She enjoys most facets of modern dentistry
but has a special interest in orthodontics, which is
the area of dentistry that improves the appearance of
the teeth by straightening them with braces. |

TERESA
ROBINSON
BChD (Leeds University, Dental School) 1993
Teresa has worked in North Yorkshire since qualifying
and joined Bedale Dental Practice in 2000. She relishes
the opportunity to extend her practice beyond general
dentistry to cosmetic treatments and facial rejuvenation. |

MARK
GARNER
BChD (Leeds University, Dental School) 1996
Mark lived and worked in Leeds until moving to North
Yorkshire in 2001. It is his priority to stay up to
date with continuous education to ensure that his patients
receive the best possible dental care and greatest choice
of preventative and cosmetic therapies. |

JANE
WHYTE - Hygienist
EDH (Institute of Dental Health and Training, RAF
Halton) 1977
Jane trained then practiced in the RAF for 6 years,
her final year spent as a hygenist tutor. She moved
to North Yorkshire in 1983 where she has since worked
continuously in both NHS and private practices. During
this time Jane spent 16 years as a full time hygenist
manager for a private practice in Knaresborough. With
this wealth of experience Jane joined Bedale Dental
Practice as a part time hygeinist in February 2009.

SHARON
McKIE - Hygienist
EDH (Institute of Dental Health and Training, RAF Halton)
1991
Sharon trained then practiced in the RAF until 1994
when she left to have twin daughters. Sharon now balances
a busy home life with working at our practice in Bedale,
another in Ripon and keeping up to date with her professional
practice. |

SHAUNA
SIMPSON - Practice Manager
Shauna initially trained as a registered general nurse
and midwife but made a career change to Practice Manager
at Bedale Dental Practice in April 2002. She is responsible
for looking after the day to day smooth running of the
practice and ensuring that our patients have the best
possible experience of our service. |
