Standards and Expectations

Our Commitment to You

We:

  • Aim to provide dental care of consistently good quality for all patients.
  • Only provide care that meets your needs and wishes.
  • Aim to make your treatment as comfortable and convenient as possible.
  • Will ensure that all treatment will be fully explained to you.

CQC

  • Follow “Best Practice” as defined by Government Legislation (HTM 01-05) for cleanliness and cross-infection control.
  • Do a full oral mouth cancer check at each examination.
  • Take part in continuing professional development to keep our skills and knowledge up to date
  • Train all staff in practice work systems and review training regularly
  • Treat everyone fairly to ensure that they are protected from unlawful discrimination
  • Welcome feedback and deal promptly with any complaints (visit the complaints section of our website to see our complaints procedure).
  • Monitor all the above arrangements to make sure that they are operating effectively.
  • You should speak to the Dentist, Practice Manager, or an appropriate member of staff if any problem should arise as soon as possible, so that we may have the opportunity to resolve the matter quickly.


In return, we need the following commitment from our patients that you:


  • Keep appointments or should you be unable to attend an appointment we request 24 hours notice as we are usually able to reallocate appointments if given the opportunity.
  • Update your contact details regularly.
  • Are respectful and polite to all our staff.
